122 - Breakpoint PSCONFIG: Remote Programming Utility

All BreakPoint operations are programmed through a single, user-friendly menu called the ALT Systems Menu. This programming menu can be accessed from within BreakPoint or remotely using the BPCONFIG Remote Programming Utility.

The BPCONFIG Remote Programming Utility can be invoked at any time by locating to the live BreakPoint directory and entering the command:
bpconfig -i
Using the BPCONFIG Programming Utility, BreakPoint programming operations can be performed from a workstation on a network or connected remotely by modem. Either way, programming operations can be performed in real time with the cashier, that is, programming can be performed at the same time that the cashier is actively operating the BreakPoint workstation.

Once invoked, the BPCONFIG Remote Programming Utility will immediately present the ALT System Menu. The operator may then proceed to any of the programming options.

WARNING: The BPCONFIG Remote Programming Utility does not enforce any security restrictions according to the Permission Level of the operator. Accordingly, operators using the BPCONFIG Programming Utility have unrestricted access to all programming options of the ALT Systems Menu.

Once finished using the BPCONFIG Remote Programming Utility, the operator may exit the program by pressing the ESC key.
