6 PLU Price Shifts Each PLU Item supports 6 PLU Price levels which may be accessed through standard PLU Price Shift keys. The PLU Price Shift operation may be set to be in effect permanently or just until the end of the current sale transaction, allowing for both "happy hour" type PLU Shifting (turned on permanently) and for "preferred customer" type PLU Shifting (turned on for the current transaction only). Each PLU Shift function has its own assignable Keyboard Layout position, Alpha Descriptor field, and System Flag options.
