The Electronic Journal display permits the cashier to view the journal for any day, search for a specific character string, and reprint any receipt. This feature may be used as a journal backup for systems that do not have a hard-copy journal printer. BreakPoint also supports a second electronic journal file which can be networked to a remote hard drive for additional security. The BreakPoint Electronic Journal has its own assignable Keyboard Layout position, Alpha Descriptor field, and System Flag options.
