There are 50 user-programmable Data Capture Functions provided which can collect any type of information, print information to receipt or journal, and output the collected information to a flat-ASCII file specified by the operator. Programming of the Data Capture Functions is friendly and provides numerous options for complete user customizability. Once programmed, the Data Capture Function can be presented automatically with any cashier operation. Information entered can be stored for an indefinite period, outputted to an ASCII file, and displayed or printed at any time. Each Data Capture comes with its own assignable Keyboard Layout position, Alpha Descriptor field, and System Flag options.
