4 Tax Shifts For each of four taxes, BreakPoint provides a Tax Shift operation, each with its own assignable Keyboard Layout position, Alpha Descriptor field, and System Flag options. Tax Shifts can be programmed to turn non-taxable status to taxable status, to turn taxable status to non-taxable status, or to reverse whatever is the current taxable status. Tax shifts can be programmed to be automatically invoked at the beginning or at the end of any sale. Tax Shifts may also be effected as a permanent status using the MODE option.
